Charles Raglin is a veteran-owned HVAC pioneer and President/CEO of Steira Air, LLC (“Your Healthy Environment Specialist”) and Steira AQ, headquartered in Snellville, Georgia, with offices in Kentucky and Texas.

With over 30 years in the industry—including 6 years in the U.S. Army starting in 1987—he managed HVAC systems for a 500-bed field hospital during the Gulf War, gaining critical insights into air quality’s role in health and infection control.

After honorable service, he specialized for 20+ years in testing, adjusting, and balancing HVAC systems. In 2017, he founded Steira Air to focus on chemical-free maintenance (like steam coil cleaning and Enzyme+36), verification, monitoring, and certification of clean-air environments for hospitals, VA facilities, schools, colleges, offices, and homes.

In 2024, he launched Steira AQ, featuring innovations like the Continuously Active Monitoring (CAM) System—real-time tracking of 9 parameters (PM2.5, TVOCs, CO2, ozone, etc.) with ion-based neutralization—and the Coil Monitoring and Management System (CMMS) to optimize coil efficiency and prevent issues.

Raglin collaborates closely with Infection Control Directors, Engineering Directors, and HVAC Managers to reduce airborne pathogens, enhance efficiency, and meet evolving standards (e.g., AS 1668.2:2024, ASHRAE). His work emphasizes proactive, sustainable solutions for infection prevention and healthier spaces.
